Installing a Granite (http://tanbrown.org) Tub Surround

I am installing some Granite (http://tanbrown.org) panels around a tub and (http://maplered.com) shower. The Granite (http://tanbrown.org) is pink, the deminsions of the Granite (http://tanbrown.org) panels are 64'' tall by 32" wide and (http://maplered.com) they are 1/4 inch thick. They have some type of fiberglass mesh on the back side. I am planning on adhearing them to a cement backer board. What type of motar, mastic or epoxy should I use to adhear the granit to the cement backer board?

Addittionally, What type of adheasive do you reccomed to install granit Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops? Should plywood by set on the Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) tops for support?
What thickness of plywood?
